A hotel lobby can handle a few emails. A full day of calls, meetings and focused work is another matter.
As business travel becomes more closely connected with hybrid work, flexible office networks are giving professionals an alternative to working from hotels, cafés or temporary corporate offices. JLL’s 2026 research shows flexible workspace remains an established part of the office landscape, while major operators continue expanding their networks.
For travelers, the most useful networks combine location coverage, private workspace, meeting facilities and flexible access.

Flexibility Goes Global
Scale remains a major advantage. WeWork currently lists 601 open and upcoming locations across 125 cities, while its broader Coworking Partner Network has expanded its bookable network to approximately 2,000 locations.
The trend also extends beyond individual travelers. WeWork reported in July that one in four Global Fortune 500 companies held space within its network as of May 2026, illustrating how flexible offices increasingly complement conventional corporate real estate.
For business travelers, however, the best choice depends less on which brand is largest and more on the itinerary. Regus and WeWork stand out for geographic reach, The Executive Centre and Servcorp for premium business settings, while JustCo and Compass Offices can be particularly useful for Asia-focused travel.
The result is a business trip where finding a professional place to work is becoming almost as flexible as booking the flight itself.
