Launched on International MSME Day, RAKBANK's ‘She Means Business’ package offers female founders a zero-balance business account, 12 months of waived fees, digital onboarding within 48 hours, cloud-based accounting tools, and access to a curated business community.
RAKBANK has launched She Means Business, a dedicated banking and business support package for female entrepreneurs in the UAE, timed to coincide with International MSME Day and the bank’s 50th anniversary year.
The package is built around a recognition that female founders need more than a bank account to build and scale a business. RAKBANK’s own research, conducted in 2025 among its female business clients, found that community networking, capability building, and access to the right tools were as critical to business survival as financing. She Means Business is the bank’s response to that finding.
At its core, the package offers a zero-balance multi-currency business account, available in both Islamic and conventional options, with no monthly maintenance fees for the first 12 months for eligible founders who open and activate an account by December 10, 2026. There is no minimum balance required. Digital onboarding can be completed in as little as 48 hours.
Beyond the account itself, the package includes complimentary access to a cloud-based platform for up to four users, covering accounting, payroll, VAT, and banking management in one place. Founders also gain access to a structured learning programme spanning AI, leadership, pricing, cash flow, and marketing, alongside curated networking opportunities with ecosystem partners. The package includes AED 1,500 off an annual CrunchMoms membership, giving founders access to a wider community of women entrepreneurs, mentors, and business resources. A complimentary Personal Banking Financial Needs Assessment is also included to help founders align personal and business finances.
The package is open to new RAKBANK customers operating as sole proprietors or individual LLCs. Applications can be submitted at quickapply.rakbank.ae by selecting the RAKStarter Account.
“For 50 years, RAKBANK has supported over 250,000 SMEs across the UAE, helping founders transform ambition into action and we proudly bank over 20,000 female-led businesses,” said Vishal Shah, Managing Director and Head of Business Banking Group at RAKBANK. “Female entrepreneurs are playing an increasingly important role in shaping the UAE’s economic future, contributing to the country’s entrepreneurship agenda, and access to the right ecosystem makes a meaningful difference,” he added.
RAKBANK Group CEO Raheel Ahmed framed the initiative as a shift in how the bank sees its own role. “Today, we have to look at the bank’s role beyond banking into a partnership and being a trusted advisor,” he said.
