Restaurant Tech Platform Foodics Launches Relief Package for F&B Operators Across GCC and Egypt

Last updated:

Foodics, the restaurant operations and financial management platform, has launched a relief initiative called “Forward Together” targeting food and beverage operators across the GCC and Egypt. The initiative comes as rising supply chain costs and tightening margins continue to strain the regional F&B sector.

The package is structured around three areas: financial liquidity, revenue generation, and operational decision-making. Under the initiative, Foodics is offering flexible payment terms on new and renewing subscriptions, free access to its website and self-ordering kiosk products, and complimentary access to AI-powered tools designed to support predictive operational insights.

Ahmad AlZaini, Co-founder and CEO of Foodics, framed the initiative as a direct response to current market conditions, noting that the F&B industry employs over a million people across the region and functions as a core driver of private sector activity in GCC and North African markets.

Chief Revenue Officer Belal Zahran pointed to Egypt as a particular focus, describing its foodservice market as currently valued at around USD 11.83 billion and growing rapidly alongside demand for technology-driven solutions.

The GCC foodservice sector is valued at nearly USD 70 billion and is projected to exceed USD 121 billion by 2031. Egypt’s market is expected to more than double over the same period.

Founded in 2014, Foodics operates across the MENA region and has processed over six billion orders through its platform. The company raised USD 170 million in a Series C round and holds a payments licence from the Saudi Central Bank through its fintech entity, Foodics Pay.
